Before you request

  1. Check what you need

Some travelers need a visitor visa, others only an eTA, and some need neither. It depends on your passport.

  2. Request the letter

Fill in the form below. You do not need to be registered yet.

  3. Receive it by email

The chapter sends the letter by email within 5 business days.

What the letter says and does not say

It says

  • It confirms the event, its dates and city (and the venue, once announced), and that you have asked to attend or take part.

  • If you have already registered, it says so. A letter for a registered participant usually carries more weight, so we will send you an updated letter once you register.

It does not

  • It does not cover travel, accommodation or any other cost.

  • It does not guarantee a visa. The decision is made by the Government of Canada.

If your visa is refused, we refund you in full when you send us the refusal letter by 30 April 2027. Delays are refunded if you applied by 15 March 2027. See the full refund policy.
