The people of PMO unCON

The people beside you are the point.

Different work. Shared questions. Meet people ready to listen, exchange experience and see a challenge from another perspective.

Different paths. Shared questions.

Who you’ll meet.

People working with PMOs across organizations, sectors and regions are welcome. North America names the edition, not a boundary on who belongs.

A challenge looks different from the PMO team, the sponsor’s chair and the delivery front line. That mix gives the conversation its value.

You do not need a senior title or a prepared case. Curiosity and a willingness to contribute have a place.

  • Leading PMOs

Share the trade-offs behind decisions and how you make PMO value visible.

  • Working in PMO teams

Analysts, specialists and team members bring the detail that makes ideas workable.

  • Sponsoring or relying on PMO decisions

Connect business expectations with the support people need from a PMO.

  • Managing delivery and advising others

Projects, portfolios, change and advisory work bring different views of the same challenge.

  • Growing a PMO career

Bring curiosity and experience from your own path. Your questions belong here too.

At the event

Three ways to contribute.

Every attendee has a voice at the tables. Formal program roles, including facilitators and panelists, are by personal invitation from the organizers.

  1. Participants

Bring a question or a work example, compare how peers approached it, and help your table test what could work differently. Share the context without confidential details.

    Explore the experience
  2. Facilitators

Invite quieter voices into the discussion, ask follow-up questions and draw out differences between approaches—not just agreement.

    In practice

    • Prepare a focused question with the program team.
    • Guide a table of about 5 to 8, making room for quieter voices and constructive differences.
    • Capture insights and disagreements, without claiming consensus or an official PMI conclusion.
  3. Experts & panelists

Bring a practical example and explain the choices behind it. Make space for participants to challenge assumptions and connect the example to their own work.

Beyond the room.

If you want to continue, voluntary PMOGA community involvement offers a way to collaborate beyond the event. It is a choice, not an expectation of participation.
